ANGEL IMPACT Awards

ANGEL IMPACT Awards recognize exemplary ANGEL implementations and foster innovation and collaboration to further enrich
the ANGEL user community.

ANGEL IMPACT Award


Nominations for 2007 ANGEL IMPACT Awards will be accepted through April 2, 2007. Awards will be presented at ANGEL User Conference 2007 in Indianapolis in May. All ANGEL customers are eligible to enter and win.



ANGEL IMPACT Awards are presented in two categories:

Course Awards recognize and reward faculty and instructional designers who create exemplary, pedagogically-sound courses using ANGEL features to:

  • Create superior content. Entrants should reference best practices models or guidelines that correspond to course design or content.
  • Develop engaging, personalized course environments.
  • Encourage learner-to-learner collaboration.
  • Assess learner progress.

Program Awards recognize and reward ANGEL administrators, instructional technology support and/or institutions that have leveraged ANGEL capabilities to:

  • Support ANGEL implementations in creative ways.
  • Provide ANGEL training in unique, highly effective ways.
  • Enable extreme ANGEL adoptions
    • adoptions in short timeframes and/or
    • involving large numbers of course migrations and/or
    • with extraodinarily high adoptoin rates/capita

Participation:

The ANGEL IMPACT Awards are open to both individuals and teams of faculty, staff and/or administrators who are licensed users of the ANGEL Learning Management Suite.

Nominations:

Entrants should submit a written narrative describing the program they are nominating and the reasons the program is exemplary. The narrative submission should be augmented by visuals, series of screen captures, photography, graphs and other supporting materials. Entrants may self-nomiate or may nominate others. In all cases a written narrative and supporting artifacts are required to support the nomination.

Submissions:

Entrants should complete the ANGEL IMPACT Exemplary Course and Program Awards 2007 Nomination Form and submit the form and supporting materials via email to Nikki Walker nwalker@angellearning.com.

Judging:

Entries to the ANGEL IMPACT Awards program will be judged by select ANGEL Learning staff, members of the ANGEL User Conference 2006 Planning Team and an independent instructional designer.

Rules:

Entries must be received no later than Monday, April 2, 2007. Entering the awards program constitutes permission for ANGEL Learning to publish entrants' names and/or likenesses, the names of their institutions and to share submitted materials.

Winners:

Recipients of the 2007 ANGEL IMPACT Awards will be announced at ANGEL User Conference 2007 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The number of award winners will be determined by the quality of the entries and as ruled by the program judges. By entering and participating in the award program, entrants agree to be bound by the decision of the judges.
