Program Description:

This course electronically teams 7th grade language arts students at Farnsley Middle School with Indiana University Southeast teacher candidates using ANGEL communication capabilities. Results of this exemplary course are strong: an 11.5 point increase in student writing portfolio scores in 2006, 10 points in 2005; teacher candidates with experience teaching writing; and, a valued professional relationship between middle school and university personnel that is generating new and innovative practices.
