Experienced Developer

ANGEL Learning is looking for several Experienced Software Developers to work on our Microsoft based web applications.  We are a dynamic, fast-growing software development company located in Indianapolis with plenty of opportunity for career development and advancement.  This position reports to the Director of Development. 

Under some supervision, the Software Developer will aid in the design and development of new features as well as re-engineering of existing technology.  Essential for this position are an understanding of web development technologies, programming languages and database technologies.   

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to the design of application features.
• Implement and unit test application and system features.
• Aid the services and operations organization in troubleshooting issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the software engineering field.
• Experience in building dynamic web applications.  
• Working knowledge of web development technologies (ASP.NET, ASP, IIS, DHTML, CSS, and Javascript).
• Working knowledge of programming languages, especially C# and Visual Basic.
• Working knowledge of database technologies, especially SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Knowledge of web services and XML a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
